A server icon is a small image that appears next to your server's name in the Minecraft multiplayer list. It helps players recognize your server and gives it a more professional look.

Before You Start: Icon Requirements

For the icon to work correctly, it must meet the following requirements:

  • Image Size: Exactly 64x64 pixels.

  • File Format: PNG (e.g., .png).

  • Filename: The file must be named exactly server-icon.png.

You can create or edit the image using any image editing software, such as Paint, GIMP, or Photoshop.

Step-by-Step Instructions to Change the Icon

  1. Prepare the Image File: Make sure your image meets the requirements listed above (64x64, PNG, server-icon.png).

  2. Log in to the Game Panel: Go to game.valuegamenode.com and log in.

  3. Open the File Manager: Select your server and navigate to the "File Manager" section from the left-hand menu.

  4. Upload the Icon:

    • Ensure you are in the root directory of the server (the same folder where you see server.properties and the plugins folder).

    • Drag and drop the server-icon.png file from your computer directly into the file manager.

    • Alternatively, you can use the "Upload" button and select the file.

  5. Restart the Server: For the new icon to appear, you must completely restart the server. Go to the "Console" page and click "Restart".

Once the server has restarted, your new icon should be visible in the Minecraft server list. Please note that it may sometimes take a moment for the Minecraft client to update the icon from its cache.
