Understanding the File Manager: Stuck in /home/container?

If you are using the File Manager and find that you can only access the /home/container/ directory, please do not be concerned. This is the normal and intended behavior of the Pterodactyl panel.

Why does this happen?

For security, your server is placed in a "sandboxed" environment. This means it is isolated from the main system's files. The /home/container/ directory is the root folder for your server. You are intentionally prevented from accessing directories outside of it.

This is your server's home directory. All your files, such as worlds, plugins, and server JARs, should be uploaded and managed within this /home/container/ folder. Your file manager is working correctly.
