How to Reset or Reinstall Your Server

If you want to start fresh with a clean installation or if your server files have become corrupted, you can perform a complete reinstall. This process will wipe your server files and install the default files for your selected game.

WARNING: Data Loss

Reinstalling your server will permanently delete all files, including worlds, configurations, and plugins. Please create a Backup before proceeding if you wish to save any data.

Step 1: Access the Settings

1. Log in to the VGN Game Panel.
2. Select the server you wish to reset.
3. Click on Settings in the left-hand sidebar.

Step 2: Trigger the Reinstallation

1. Locate the Reinstall Server button (usually at the bottom of the page or in a dedicated "Maintenance" block).
2. Click the button.
3. A confirmation window will appear, warning you that this action is permanent.
4. Click Yes, Reinstall Server.

Step 3: Monitor the Progress

1. You will be redirected to the Console.
2. You will see the server status change to Installing.
3. The panel will now download and unpack the fresh server files.
4. Once the status changes back to Offline, you can click Start to begin your new adventure.

Troubleshooting

If the reinstallation gets stuck for more than 10 minutes, please contact our support team or open a ticket, and we will manually clear the installation flag for you.
