How to Add a Sub-User to Your Server

If you are working with a team or want to give a friend access to your server console or files without sharing your main account credentials, you can use the Sub-Users feature. This allows you to grant specific permissions to other users.

Step 1: Access the Users Tab

1. Log in to the VGN Game Panel.
2. Select the server you want to share access to.
3. Click on Users in the left-hand sidebar.

Step 2: Add a New User

1. Click the New User button.
2. Enter the Email Address of the person you want to invite.
3. If the user does not have an account yet: Don't worry! The panel will automatically send an invitation email to that address. The invited person can follow the link in the email to set their password and activate their account.

Step 3: Configure Permissions

You can select exactly what this person is allowed to do. Common permissions include:

• Control: Start, stop, and restart the server.
• Console: View the console and send commands.
• Files: Access the File Manager to edit or upload files.
• Backups: Create or restore backups.
• Schedules: View or modify task schedules.

Note: We recommend only granting "Files" and "Console" permissions to trusted staff members.

Step 4: Save

1. Once you have selected the desired permissions, click Invite User.
2. The user will now see your server in their own dashboard (after completing the setup via email if they were a new user).

How to Remove a Sub-User

If you want to revoke access, simply go back to the Users tab and click the Delete (Trash can) icon next to their name.
